How do we balance family life with our creative life? Is it possible for these seemingly separate lives to overlap?

Once the tasks I was involved with in my home became connected to the larger picture of who I am in the world everything transformed. What was once mundane became creative. Home-making became spiritualized. It began by making an inner home. Now I know: everything we do to create home, from cultivating an inner life to sweeping the floors, is the stuff upon which new worlds are built. The future society is formed at our kitchen tables.
